Let's explore what Nandonik Sylhet has to offer.Nandonik Sylhet is primarily known for its delectable pickles. Our signature products are various types of delicious pickles. In addition, Nandonik Sylhet works with various traditional products from Sylhet, such as reed mats, reed mat products, Manipuri sarees, Satkara (a type of cotton cloth), tea leaves, and many more. Nandonik's journey has been relatively short, just a year and five months. In this short time, Nandonik has managed to win the hearts of pickle lovers. I believe this is due to the various trainings we provide and our commitment to doing things the right way.

As an entrepreneur, I believe training is indispensable. I am a proud member of the Sylhet Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry. I say proud because SWCCI regularly organizes various training programs for entrepreneurs. I believe that a knowledgeable entrepreneur should have at least basic knowledge of ten sectors, such as city corporation, VAT, tax, banking, BSTI (Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution), consumer rights, BIDA (Bangladesh Investment Development Authority), IT lab, BSIC (Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation), and EPB (Export Promotion Bureau). The Sylhet Women's Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the ILO Progress Project, has arranged training for entrepreneurs on these 10 sectors, called the Business Development Support Service. I had the opportunity to participate in a program under this Business Development Support Service about six months ago, where I learned about BSTI and the importance of BSTI certification for pickles. Taking the initiative, I was able to obtain BSTI certification for three of my pickles with the help of the Sylhet Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These include baroi pickle, satkara pickle, and mango pickle. The BSTI certification process for the remaining pickles is ongoing, and I hope to complete it soon. I believe this initiative of the Sylhet Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the ILO is excellent. It will be beneficial for all entrepreneurs, and everyone can benefit from it.
