BFRC Executive Director Visits to Sylhet Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Office
On Saturday, 13th June, Dr. Md. Mofizur Rahman, the esteemed Executive Director of BIAM Foundation Research Center (BFRC), visited the office of Sylhet Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SWCCI).
He was warmly welcomed by Lubana Yesmin Shampa, President of SWCCI. The Board of Directors like Sayma Sultana Chowdhury, Zakira Fatema Limi Chowdhury, Gazi Zinath Afza, and Tahmina Hasan Chowdhury, along with several accomplished women entrepreneurs representing different sectors were also present at the Office.
During the visit, Dr. Mofizur Rahman engaged in an open and meaningful exchange of ideas with the participants. The discussions focused on the current realities faced by women entrepreneurs, their untapped potential, skills development, research-driven entrepreneurship, training needs, and opportunities for future collaborative initiatives.
Particular emphasis was placed on creating a more supportive and business-friendly environment for small and medium women entrepreneurs, making it easier for them to establish, sustain, and expand their businesses. The participating women entrepreneurs also shared their firsthand experiences, challenges, and aspirations for the future.
