On 31/12/2023, Sylhet Women's Chamber distributed winter clothes among the winter workers of Sylhet Kalagul tea plantation.Chairman of Sadar Upazila Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed, tea workers leader Raju Goala, president of Sylhet Women's Chamber Swarnlata Roy, vice president Syeda Rabeya Akhter Ria and directors were present as chief guests. Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed, the chief guest in the said distribution ceremony, said that every year Sylhet Women's Chamber distributes winter clothes to the poor people of the society. People's leader Sheikh Hasina has played a key role behind the development of women in Bangladesh today. The women of Bangladesh are moving forward by holding his hand.

In addition to the tea workers, President of Sylhet Women's Chamber Swarnalata Roy said that the women tea workers will be able to market the products through various trainings in addition to picking tea in a day. In this regard, he assured all assistance in training women tea workers and marketing the products.
