The closing ceremony of the three-week intensive strategic leadership training, “Capstone Course 2026/1,” was held on April 23, 2026, at the National Defence College (NDC), Mirpur Cantonment.

The event was graced by the Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, who attended as the Chief Guest and distributed certificates among the Capstone Fellows.

This prestigious course brought together 45 distinguished fellows, including policymakers, senior military and civil officials, diplomats, corporate leaders, and other prominent individuals from across the country. We are proud to share that among these respected fellows was Lubana Yesmin Shampa, President of Sylhet Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SWCCI).

In his address, the Chief Guest congratulated all fellows for completing the course and encouraged them to actively contribute to strengthening national security and ensuring the sustainable development of Bangladesh through responsible leadership.

This achievement marks a significant milestone not only for SWCCI but also for the broader landscape of women’s leadership and representation at the national level. Her participation stands as a strong testament to the growing role, capability, and impact of women entrepreneurs in leadership spaces.
